Technophobia

by Teo Gien Kheng
Jabatan Pertanian, Semenggok
In he strut and there
he found
A machine that could
emit sound
Sitting down he started to fiddle
All the blood rushed up to
his middle
Afraid he cringed in his own chair
Huffing and puffing he
gasped for air
Tension build up in his brain
"Oh! My God is this migraine"
Biting his nails and losing his speech
His whole body covered with cold sweat
What a monster of
a machine
Sending impulses to his skin
Out of his office into the corridor
Just to check on his "girls"
and "boys"
To his disgust they loved the 'toys"
Suddenly it dawned on him
It's the era of IT and multimedia
He was caught out and in
A sickness known as TECHNOPHOBIA
