The State Development Monitoring Committee (SDMC) had its
second meeting in Mukah recently to discuss on the latest performance and status
of implementation of the 8MP projects in the State.
The Northern Sarawak District of Lawas played host to Datu Wilson Dandot and
his entourage when they held a meeting-cum-visit to the area on the 14th and
15th October respectively.
Visible manifestations of US-Malaysia relationship
lie in trade and commerce, and in people-to-people relations. Besides, Sarawak’s
stable political and social environments are among the numerous reasons that
attract foreign inves-tors especially the Americans to the State. Other reasons
are fiscal and non-fiscal incentives, a sup-portive government, low cost of
production and the abundance of English-speaking workforce.
Pendidikan
alam sekitar dilihat suatu yang perlu dititikberatkan terutama-nya kepada generasi
muda. Mereka inilah yang bakal mewarisi alam sekitar dan sekiranya mereka tidak
diberikan pendidikan yang sewajarnya, ia pasti memberi kesan terhadap alam sekitar
kelak.
